Siemens y Mitsubishi presentan una oferta para aliarse con Alstom en el sector energético

El alemán Siemens y el japonés Mitsubishi Heavy Industries presentan una oferta conjunta para comprar y aliarse en la actividad energética con el francés Alstom. Esperada como contraoferta a la del estadounidense General Electric, Siemens propone 3.900 millones de euros para hacerse con la división de turbinas de gas de Alstom mientras que Mitsubishi plantea entrar con un diez por ciento en el capital del francés inyectando 3.100 millones para crear tres sociedades conjuntas en las divisiones nuclear, de redes inteligentes y turbinas hidráulicas.

Como constraste, General Electric ofrece 12.350 millones dejando fuera la construcción de trenes de Alstom. De hecho, en la oferta del alemán y el japonés tampoco se incluye esta división aunque se deja abierta la posibilidad de que Siemens la ceda en el futuro. Ambas compañías, también garantizan el empleo en Alstom durante los tres próximos años. El gobierno francés forzó precisamente esta contraoferta de Siemens.

Alstom, Siemens no arroja la toalla

Siemens busca una alianza con Mitsubishi para presentar una oferta conjunta por la división de energía de Alstom.
Las compañías alemana y japonesa negocian la posibilidad de presentar una propuesta que convenza al Consejo que la empresa gala celebra el próximo 16 de junio. De momento se desconocen los detalles, aunque entre las opciones que se barajan, Mitsubishi podría comprar el negocio de turbinas de vapor e infraestructuras de Alstom, y Siemens, se haría con la división de turbinas de gas. La alianza de Siemens con Mitsubishi resolvería, según los expertos, los problemas de competencia.

Tanto Siemens como General Electric(GE) han estado tratando de obtener el apoyo del gobierno francés, para hacerse con el negocio energético de Alstom, una compañía que lleva sufriendo problemas de deuda durante más de una década.

Alstom vende su división de energía a General Electric

El consejo de administración del grupo industrial francés Alstom ha aceptado finalmente la oferta de la estadounidense General Electric para comprar su división de energía por más de 10.000 millones de euros. El acuerdo deberá ser aprobado por varias instancias, incluyendo el comité de empresa del grupo francés.

El martes los trabajadores de Alstom realizaron las primeras movilizaciones exigiendo el mantenimiento de los puestos de trabajo. La división de energía de Alstom emplea a 9.000 trabajadores fijos. En esta ocasión el gobierno francés quiere una solución de alianzas industriales que evite que el estado tome una participacion como tuvo que hacer hace diez años para evitar la quiebra de la empresa.

El gobierno francés y el ministro de Industria Arnaud Montebourg, han declarado abiertamente su preferencia por un acuerdo con la empresa alemana Siemens.
